THE CERISE CHAISE LONGUE

I have a fabulous cerise chaise longue and a brilliantly green Satin dress an so this painting was born. I love opposite colour combinations and how colour and texture work with each other, I wanted to capture a rather opulent moment of thought and wonder. I felt the need for gold leaf on the wall in the background creating a captivating change in gold as you move around the painting.

painted on deep cavass so can be hung without frame should you choose too.
